The Printed Peanut is an ever-expanding collection of illustrated items for you and your home, designed by Louise Lockhart. All products are manufactured in the UK and aim to use eco-friendly materials wherever possible.
In 2012, illustrator Louise Lockhart was working in a beautiful stationery shop in Vancouver which inspired her to start her own line of illustrated products. Realising there was a gap on the market for quality party games, she began making her version of Pass the Parcel (fuelled on peanut butter) and so The Printed Peanut was born. The Printed Peanut is still a one-woman operation, but is now based in sunny Yorkshire, UK.
One of the Printed Peanut's products is soap! They are 100% natural, handmade soap bars made in Yorkshire, UK. Each soap is made using the cold-process method which creates a biodegradable soap with zero by-products. Energy consumption is kept to an absolute minimum - each and every bar is poured and cut by hand and packed in 100% recycled paper wrappers (there are 2 small plastic stickers to seal the ends of the soap). They contain only 100% natural, plant-based ingredients and smell divine! Guaranteed cruelty-free and vegan, and free from Parabens, SLS, Pthalates or Triclosan. Each bar is stamped with a smiling face, to make your face smile. Eco, ethical and beautiful, what's not to love about these little soaps!
