Nelson's is an award winning* family-owned business, run by two brothers, Robert and Patrick Wilson whose passion for providing natural healthcare choices drives us today. Their products have inspired generations to live healthier, happier lives since 1860, when Nelsons Homeopathic Pharmacy first opened its doors in Mayfair, London and started dispensing homeopathic prescriptions, which they still do to this day.
They came a long way since that Victorian pharmacy began trading and Nelsons is now one of the UK’s leading and Europe’s longest established manufacturer of natural healthcare products, having built up an impressive portfolio that includes the world-famous RESCUE® range, Bach™ Original Flower Remedies, Spatone®, Nelsons Arnicare®, Nelsons Teetha®, Nelsons® creams including H+Care®, Nelsons® homeopathic ClikPak® and Formulated® ranges. And they continue to grow their existing brands through researching, developing and launching new products as well as actively searching for new health and well-being partners and opportunities to license, distribute or acquire.
Nelsons takes its responsibility as a healthcare manufacturer very seriously. They operate with a culture of compliance and continuous improvement in quality, regulations and health & safety. Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) is standard in their manufacturing and laboratory facilities in Wimbledon, London and Snowdonia, Wales as well as their third party partners and suppliers. They work with the authorities in every country they distribute to, ensuring the company adheres to their high standards, including the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and the Food and Drugs Agency (FDA). It’s no small achievement with distribution now in over 45 countries worldwide.
Their commitment to providing natural healthcare choices to customers is not where their work ends. A proportion of Nelsons profits are ploughed back into health-related projects and charities in the UK and abroad, from sponsoring London taxis to take sick children and their families to Euro-Disney to building women’s health clinics in Somalia. Their people power has helped pack toiletry wash bags for victims of rape and sexual assault and raise thousands of pounds in charity day activities. They also support their staff’s outside health and charity interests through their staff bursary fund. We want to inspire generations to live healthier, happier lives.
